Compensation:

The owner of the female dog can choose to breed her as many times as deemed necessary, either naturally or artificially, based on the recommendation of the stud dog owner's veterinarian to ensure complete coverage of the breeding cycle. We will make every effort to document successful ties and provide pictures to the female dog owner(s). If the female dog does not allow the stud dog to breed her through live cover, artificial insemination can be arranged with the assistance of our local veterinarian and prior semen analysis. Payment to the stud owner can be made through Cash app, Facebook pay, Venmo, or in cash at the time of the first successful service or when discussing the lock-in service. The service fee will cover a second standing session to be scheduled within the week after the first tie. If the breeding is done through shipping, the fee will be paid at the time of service. The owner of the female dog will provide the desired dates of service, with or without the aid of progesterone testing.

Stud Service:

1.           ____ is to be paid in full before breeding.

2.           ____ Paid as a lock in.

3.           ____ 1st or 2nd POL determined between both parties.

4.           ____ Stud for stud. No money exchanges.

5.           ____ Puppy exchange for stud service.

The fee for this service is [                ]. A deposit of [              ] is required to reserve the stud's services and block out the desired time. The remaining balance must be paid before the breeding takes place or before the shipment is sent. It is important to note that all lock-in services must be paid either during the initial discussion or within one week after the contract is reviewed. Failure to do so will render the contract null and void, and no discount will be granted. Litter registration papers will not be signed until the stud fee and any agreed-upon expenses, such as veterinary fees, are paid in full. Before breeding, the stud will undergo a semen analysis. If, within 12 months, the stud is found to be infertile, the lock-in/stud fee will be refunded in full.

Litter registration/ Breeding Rights- the stud dog owner agrees to,

Stud Dog Owners) agrees to:

____ Allow Female Dog Owners to have full rights with all puppies produced with Stud Dog Owner Stud.

____NOT allow female dog owner to have full rights with all puppies produced with stud owners stud. If produced litter can be registered stud dog owner will allow LIMITED registration with a signed Spay and Neuter contract from both parties.

-No puppies resulting from the breeding may be sold to brokers, pet shops or puppy mills. Should this part of the contract be ignored, Stud Dog Owner will pursue this clause in a court of law.

Chilled extended/Fresh chilled-

If the Female Dog Owner chooses to have freshly chilled semen or frozen semen shipped, the cost of the shipment will be the responsibility of the Female Dog Owner(s). This fee is separate from the Stud fee.

Litter papers will not be signed until both the Stud Fee and the entire cost of the Chilled/Frozen semen expenses are paid in full before the shipment is sent. Even if the breeding does not result in a pregnancy, the Female Dog Owner is still responsible for the cost of the Chilled/Frozen semen expenses.

In the event that the Female Dog Owner decides to do a second breeding, they will still be responsible for the collection and shipment fees in order to attempt a successful breeding. However, if semen was collected and arrived in good condition but an unsuccessful pregnancy occurs, and the Female Dog Owner does not wish to proceed with a second breeding, this contract will become void, and no money will be given or returned.

If the semen is collected and leaves the facility with good sperm mobility but gets damaged during transit, and the Female Dog Owner still wishes to proceed with the collection, the shipping fees will be the responsibility of the Female Dog Owner.

No money will be refunded UNLESS a deposit has been placed for the stud fee and the stud in question is deceased.

The Stud Owner agrees to accept any returned puppy if the Female Dog Owner(s) are unable to keep the puppy at that time.

Housing of Bitch:

If the Stud Owner agrees to house a female dog in heat, it is mandatory for the female dog owner to have progesterone testing done before dropping off the dog. This testing ensures that the breeding will occur on the correct days for optimal results. The Stud Owner agrees that all stud dogs will be kept separate from each other and only be allowed together with the desired stud under supervision.

Upon dropping off the female dog, the female dog owner will pay a non-refundable fee upfront. If a successful tie occurs, the remaining fee will be due at pick up. However, if the tie does not take place and the female dog owner does not wish to proceed with an alternate stud, the non-refundable deposit can be carried over to the next heat cycle.

While in the care of the Stud Dog Owner, the female dog will be treated as if she were one of the Stud Dog Owner's own animals. She will be kept indoors in the Stud Dog Owner's home during her stay, and the Stud Dog Owner will make every effort to ensure her comfort.

If the female dog exhibits aggression or dominance towards the male dog, the female dog owner will have the option to pursue artificial insemination with the assistance of the Stud Dog Owner's veterinarian, Roe Burke Veterinary Clinic. The expenses for collection and shipping, in addition to the stud fee, will be the responsibility of the female dog owner.

Live litter guarantee-

If Stud is Proven Prior to Breeding-

If progesterone testing was conducted prior to breeding and the resulting litter does not produce at least two puppies that are born alive, the Stud Fee will be carried forward. This allows the Dam's Owner to reuse the Stud with the same Dam or a different dam if agreed upon, without any additional expense for live cover.

However, the owner of the Dam must agree that failure to test progesterone levels or ovulation prior to breeding will result in the forfeiture of our live litter guarantee.

Additionally, if a rebreeding is necessary according to the guarantee, the Dam's owner will be responsible for covering any fees associated with semen collection or artificial insemination, if such intervention is required.

Stud owner will allow for different Dam to be used if failure from first breeding occurs.

___ Yes, service can be forwarded to another dam of same value and service

___No, service will not be forwarded to another bitch.

Stud Fee Exchange Agreement:

Lakietha Lucas, representing Kentuckiana Poodles in Brandenburg, KY, and_____________ _(Breeder), representing__________ _ (Kennel Name) in _____________(Location), hereby agree to exchange stud services. Lakietha Lucas will provide stud services from (Stud Dog Name) to ______________(Breeder), who will in turn provide stud services from ____________ (Breeder's Sire).

Both parties agree to be responsible for the payment of collection and shipping costs whenever their respective bitch comes into heat and collection is required. The stud service will be provided to whichever bitch comes into season first, and a successful breeding takes place.

In the event that circumstances change for either party and the stud dog is sold before the planned breeding occurs, the party affected by this change will be required to pay a total of $3,000.00 as a stud fee and inconvenience fee.

If, after the breeding takes place, the stud dog experiences natural causes that prevent further breeding, the successful party will have the option to either:

1. Choose a different stud from their upcoming heat, or

2. Take the first pick from the breeding with the pair, and they will be responsible for the transportation cost of their new puppy.

If either bitch fails to conceive, but the semen arrives in good condition, the party involved can agree or disagree to a second service at no charge, excluding collection and shipping expenses.

It is important to note that all breedings must take place within a two-year period. If no breeding occurs within this timeframe, the contract becomes void for both parties.

In the event that the first breeding takes place, but the opposite party decides to pursue a different direction with their breeding program and stud choice, this contract will become void, and no further action or money will be granted.

Agreement for Puppy/Dog Exchange for Stud Fee:

Both parties agree to exchange a puppy/dog for a stud fee. If the puppy/dog is of equal or greater value than the stud fee, no additional payment is required from the stud owner. However, if the puppy/dog is of lesser value, the puppy/dog owner will owe the stud owner the remaining balance of the stud fee before receiving the stud service. All payments made are non-refundable, unless the puppy/dog is delivered in poor condition and deemed necessary by a vet to be returned to the original breeder/owner.

The puppy/dog owner agrees to provide a healthy puppy/dog, well-maintained, and up to date on all current vaccines, along with vet records and registration. The stud dog owner agrees to test the stud for brucellosis before sending a collection of semen. The stud owner is not responsible for any collection and/or shipping costs. If the semen sample leaves the facility in good condition but is damaged in transit, the other party will be responsible for the cost of re-collection.

The stud owner guarantees a live litter with at least two live puppies born. If this condition is not met, the parties can decide whether to re-breed (free of charge, excluding shipping fees) or nullify the contract. If natural causes prevent the breeding from taking place, the stud owner will owe the puppy/dog owner the agreed-upon inconvenience fee. If natural causes prevent the puppy/dog from arriving at the stud owner's location, the money/deposit will be returned and the contract will become null. Alternatively, if the option is available, the stud owner may transfer the payment to another litter from the puppy/dog owner.

Social Media Clause:

The purpose of this joint breeding endeavor is to enhance the breed and produce dogs that are healthy and well-balanced. Both the owners of the Dam and Stud agree to show respect and consideration towards each other on all social media platforms, refraining from making slanderous or negative remarks publicly or privately. If the Stud owner posts an advertisement featuring their male dog on any social platform, they are required to give credit to the Dam owner by tagging or mentioning them.
